Jewelry Care

Your jewelry may naturally tarnish over time and with wear.

Your jewelry will arrive wrapped in anti-tarnish paper. In order to keep it looking bright and shiny, I recommend continuing to store it this paper in a ziplock baggie when not being worn.

You can clean your jewelry by gently buffing it using a silver polishing cloth. You can also clean it using this alternative cleaning solution:

Take a glass bowl, line the bottom with a piece of aluminum foil (shiny side up), add a capful of washing soda (i.e. “Mr. Clean”) and a cup of very warm water. Lay the jewelry on the foil and agitate the water gently until the piece looks clean (one to two minutes). Dry with a lint free cloth.

This solution is not recommended for jewelry with soft or delicate gemstones such as pearls, turquoise, coral, or malachite, or for gems that are sensitive to thermal shocks. Check this Gemstone Care Guide for more information on cleaning your jewelry.
